I thought I'd take a chance and see what kind of book a "first-time" author would write, especially because I am someone who always wanted to do it but never had the discipline. After all, I had nothing to lose except for ninety-nine cents if I didn't like it. Well let me tell you, this book does not disappoint, in fact, it is surprisingly wonderful!The story flowed nicely, the read was so easy, and the language was so real, I felt like Cadence, Jason, Christian, April, and Spram were actually my friends and I was living and interacting with them!
I judge books by the images I get while reading, and the way this author writes, I was literally inside the lives of these people!
Bottom line - I thought this was a wonderfully heartwarming story. I highly recommend this author and will be watching for future books from her!
